Jellied pie with canned fish - in a hurry. Options for jellied pies with canned fish made with kefir, mayonnaise, and sour cream. Pie made from batter with canned food. We will take these ingredients. Liquid pie with canned pineapples

One of our family’s favorite dishes is jellied pie with canned fish. In addition to its juicy and bright taste, it has an undeniable advantage: it is very easy to prepare, and most importantly, it does not take much time (it is eaten faster).

There are a lot of options for this pie; today I will give examples of different recipes, including a quick method that helps out when guests suddenly appear. There is also a mayonnaise pie in stock, very tasty, although high in calories. There are also dietary recipes.

How to make jellied pie with canned fish

By the name of this type of baking, you can already guess that the dough here is meant to be liquid, which is used to pour the filling. For a pie with canned food, you can make the dough with sour cream, kefir, and mayonnaise. You can mix the liquid ingredients in equal parts, you can add melted butter or margarine. You can generally make a thin yeast dough, the cake will turn out soft and airy, but you will have to tinker.

There is also a wide variety of fillings; fortunately, we always have a large selection of canned fish. But here you need to know which manufacturers to choose. Yes, yes, I once ruined a pie by putting saury in it, which was prepared somewhere in the Moscow region. Most likely, the raw materials for the canned food were frozen and preparation standards were not met.

When purchasing such products, always make sure that the manufacturer must be from an area located in the coastal zone. It’s better if the canned food is made on a floating base, then they will definitely be tasty.

As an additive to fish, we use potatoes, and in different types, cereals, mainly buckwheat or rice. In addition to potatoes, other vegetables are also used in the filling.

Jellied pie with canned fish on kefir

Quite dietary baking if you take one percent kefir and do not add oil or mayonnaise to the dough. You can also take low-fat fish. Such a pie will not be too high in calories, and if you are watching your figure, you will be able to afford a slice.

We use the following products:

  • 2 cups low-fat kefir
  • 1.5 cups wheat flour
  • 3 tablespoons sunflower oil
  • 2 eggs
  • A teaspoon of sugar, soda and salt
  • Can of canned food, sardines, sardinella or saury
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 bunch of green onions
  • Black pepper to taste

How to make this pie:

  1. Break the eggs into a wide bowl, add salt, add soda and sugar, beat with a whisk, pour in the kefir, and beat again.
  2. Sift the flour into a bowl, add vegetable oil and stir well until all the pieces are dissolved.
  3. Open the jar of fish and drain all the liquid. Then shake it out into a plate and mash it with a fork.
  4. Boil the eggs, cut them into small cubes. Cut the onion into small rings, mix with canned food and egg.
  5. We use a deep form or baking sheet, cover it with baking paper, pour out one half of the dough, distribute it and lay out the filling.
  6. Pour the second part of the dough on top.
  7. Bake in a preheated oven for half an hour at 200 degrees.

Recipe for jellied pie with canned fish and potatoes

In this recipe, potatoes are placed raw, but if you know how to cook potato pie, then try making the filling with it, it will taste extraordinary.

For the pie we need to take:

  • A glass of kefir
  • 0.5 cups sunflower oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups of flour
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • A quarter teaspoon each of soda and salt
  • A jar of saury in oil
  • 3 large potatoes
  • Medium bulb
  • Pepper

Cooking process:

Pour the kefir into a convenient wide bowl to knead there, add soda and salt, drop in the oil and add flour while stirring. I immediately sift it straight into the bowl. Knead the dough and leave it to stand for the baking soda to start working.

In the meantime, let's get to the filling. Salt the excess liquid from the canned fish and mash it with a fork so that there are no large pieces.

For this filling you need to cut the onion finely into cubes. I tried grating the potatoes, but it works better when they feel like sticks in the pie. Here, do it at your own discretion, you can cut it with plastics.

For the pie I use a round pan, which I cover with baking paper, but you can coat it with butter and sprinkle with breadcrumbs. Pour one half of the dough onto the bottom in an even layer, place the fish on it, then the onion, and then lightly pepper the potatoes on top. Then pour in the rest of the dough and set to bake. For complete readiness, half an hour at 200 degrees is usually enough, but you need to check.

Pie with canned mayonnaise

When a bag of mayonnaise disappears from your refrigerator out of despair, you can safely add it to the dough. It may be a little high in calories, but it’s tasty and, in the end, the food won’t go to waste.

We will take:

  • 500 grams of any mayonnaise
  • 1.5 cups sifted wheat flour
  • 3 eggs
  • A teaspoon instead of soda
  • A jar of canned saury in oil
  • Small onion
  • 3 large potatoes

Cooking process:

Jellied fish pie with mayonnaise is quick and easy to make. I always mix the dough with a mixer, it is not very thick, so it won’t take much time. In a mixer mug I break the eggs with soda, squeeze out a packet of mayonnaise into it and sift the flour. Five minutes and the dough is ready.

I open the jar of fish and pour out the liquid, crushing the saury itself with a fork. I cut the onion into half rings, and grate the potatoes on a special grater, making the cubes like french fries.

We take a baking sheet, calculate the products for a medium size, coat it with any fat, you can simply cover it with parchment. First fill the “bottom” of the pie - the first half of the dough. Then we lay out layers of saury, onions and potatoes, you can add spices to taste, for example, pepper. Fill with the second part of the dough and bake for half an hour.

Canned fish and rice go well together in the filling. I made some changes, if you like it, please rate it.

  • 200 grams of medium fat kefir
  • 200 grams of fifteen percent sour cream
  • 1.5 cups flour
  • 3 chicken eggs

In a wide bowl, mix kefir with sour cream, salt and soda, break the eggs into it and sift the flour little by little; you can knead the dough using a mixer. Fish pie with yeast dough

The good thing about this version is that you have the choice of making the dough yourself or buying it in a store. It will taste better with homemade dough, that’s for sure.

We will take:

  • 1 can of saury or sardinella
  • 350 g white wheat flour
  • 1 glass of water

  4. Drain the oil from the canned food and mash with a fork. Mix with chopped onion.
  5. Knead the risen dough and divide it into two parts.
  6. From one part we make the bottom of the pie. Spread it on a baking sheet sprinkled with flour.
  7. Place saury and onions on top.
  8. Cover with the second part of the dough.
  9. Bake at 180 degrees for no more than 50 minutes.

Jellied pie with canned sour cream

This pie will turn out with a shiny golden brown crust; if you are not on a diet, you can use thicker sour cream, and if you are counting calories, you can dilute it with kefir.

We use:

  • Glass of sour cream
  • A glass of sifted flour
  • 3 chicken eggs
  • 0.5 teaspoon quicklime soda
  • 2 cans of natural horse mackerel or sardine
  • Medium bulb
  • 3 potatoes
  • Salt, seasonings

Cooking process:

Place sour cream in a wide bowl, add salt and soda, stir. Separately, break the eggs and pour them into the sour cream, after which we begin to slowly introduce flour so that there are no lumps. The dough must stand so that the process of extinguishing the soda goes through completely.

Open the cans of fish, get rid of the liquid and shake out the pieces of fish onto a plate, using a fork to mash them into small pieces. Cut the onion into small cubes. Potatoes are tastier cut into slices or cubes.

It is not necessary to grease the mold if the sour cream is oily, but you can cover it with parchment. Pour half the batter for the bottom of the pie. We lay fish, onions and potatoes on it in layers, you can add spices. Fill the top part and set to bake for 20-30 minutes.

An appetizer or a full meal on your table - jellied pie with canned fish. Prepare it with potatoes or rice, kefir, sour cream or mayonnaise at home.

We suggest preparing a simple kefir jellied pie with canned fish. It is prepared very quickly: literally in 10 minutes the dough is kneaded with kefir, to which the fish filling is added. Any canned fish is suitable for filling the pie, and to enhance the taste they are mixed with fried onions. The result will pleasantly surprise you!

for test:

  • 2 eggs;
  • 500 ml. kefir;
  • 200 g flour;
  • 1 tsp salt;
  • 2 tsp without a slide of baking powder for dough or 1 tsp. soda + 1 tbsp. vinegar;
  • 2 tbsp. vegetable oil;

For filling:

  • 2-3 small onions;
  • 2 canned fish;
  • pepper to taste.

Preparatory stage: set the oven to preheat to 180 degrees.

First, prepare the filling for the jellied pie. Peel the onion, rinse and finely chop. Fry over medium heat in a small amount of vegetable oil until transparent. Set the onion aside to cool slightly.

Now let's make the dough for the jellied pie. Break 2 eggs into a deep bowl and pour 0.5 liters. kefir, the fat content of kefir does not matter.

Whisk until a homogeneous mass is formed.

Add flour, salt and baking powder (or slaked soda with vinegar). Mix, a hand whisk does an excellent job of this task.

Add vegetable oil and mix.

The dough for the kefir jellied pie is ready. The consistency should resemble dough for thin pancakes or liquid sour cream.

The onion in the frying pan has already cooled down by this time. Open the canned fish and drain the excess liquid. Remove the hard ridges from the canned fish and transfer the flesh to the frying pan. There is no need to thoroughly clean the fish; the remaining bones will not be noticeable in the finished dish. Mash the canned fish with a spatula and mix with the onion.

Since the pie dough is liquid, I advise you not to use a springform pan to prevent the dough from leaking out. A silicone baking dish does the job perfectly, and you don’t need to grease it with oil. Pour half of the kefir jellied pie dough into the mold.

Spread the filling of canned fish and onions evenly on top.

Pour the remaining dough on top. Place in a preheated oven at 180°C for 40-50 minutes, depending on the height of the mold.

Check for doneness by piercing the cake with a toothpick. If there are no traces of batter left, the pie can be removed from the oven. Cool slightly and remove from the mold.

Jellied pie with canned fish on kefir is ready! Serve hot or warm. Bon appetit!

Recipe 2: jellied pie with canned fish (step by step)

  • sour cream - 100 gr.;
  • mayonnaise - 100 gr.;
  • chicken egg - 2 pcs.;
  • salt - 0.5 tsp;
  • soda - 0.5 tsp;
  • wheat flour - 1.5 tbsp;
  • canned fish in oil (I have saury) - 1 can;
  • onion - 1 pc.;
  • potatoes - 3 pcs.

To start the process, take sour cream and mayonnaise out of the refrigerator. One hundred grams is a little more than half a glass. You can generally replace both components with a glass of full-fat kefir.

Add sour cream and mayonnaise to the cup and beat in two eggs; if they are small, feel free to add 3 pieces. Mix everything with a regular fork; there is no need to beat this dough, so you shouldn’t waste time on such work and washing the mixer.

Add half a teaspoon of salt.

Add quicklime soda and stir again.

The main thing is that it has the consistency of pancake dough. Turn on the oven at 180 degrees, while it is heating, make the filling.

Mash the canned fish with a fork along with the liquid in which they are located. At one time I saw in some program what you should pay attention to when choosing canned food. If we omit all the subtleties regarding the composition, we choose the jar that gurgles less when shaken. This means that there is more fish in such canned food than there is filling. I used saury in oil. You can safely notice the canned sardines, herring or pink salmon that are on hand.

We cover the pan with parchment paper, although sometimes you come across such paper that it is better to cook without it completely than to then tear off the burnt parchment from the pie. In general, if you are confident in the form, do it without paper.

Place the second layer of canned fish and distribute it evenly.

Level the surface of the dough well and sprinkle it with a little black pepper. Honestly, this is more for the visual effect than for the taste. If you want to make the pie spicier, it is better to pepper the filling.

Place the fish pie in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes. I check readiness by smell and beautiful golden brown crust, but for this you need to know the features of your oven. There is a way to do this easier - take out the pie and pierce it with a toothpick; if, when removed, it remains dry, without sticking dough, the pie is baked.

Jellied pie with canned fish is ready! We give it a little rest and send it to the table.

Recipe 3: jellied pie with canned fish on kefir

This delicious, juicy jellied pie with canned sardines will fit perfectly into your collection of quick and economical master classes.

  • kefir 2.5% - 1 glass
  • wheat flour - 100 gr
  • baking soda - 0.5% tsp.
  • salt - to taste
  • ground black pepper - to taste
  • sardines (canned fish) - 1 can
  • onion - 1 head
  • carrots - 1 pc.
  • chicken egg - 1 pc.
  • mayonnaise - 40 ml
  • vegetable oil - 1 tbsp.

Let's open canned sardine or any other fish in oil or in its natural form. Mash very thoroughly with a fork.

Cook onions and carrots in a frying pan and mix it with canned food. Season the filling for the jellied pie with salt and pepper.

In a bowl, mix kefir, flour and baking soda into a homogeneous, lump-free mass of semi-liquid consistency - similar to pancake dough. Keep the dough a little warm before preparing the pie.

In a separate bowl, mix the egg with mayonnaise into a homogeneous mass.

Grease a deep but small-width rectangular baking sheet with vegetable oil and fill it with the first dough. The sardine filling will go in the middle. Let's distribute it evenly over the dough. Pour the mixed mayonnaise-egg mixture on top and place the baking sheet in the oven for 45 minutes. Heating no more than 180°.

The finished pie with canned food should be cooled and removed from the mold after 15 minutes. Cut into triangles or squares and serve as an appetizer.

Recipe 4: pie with canned fish and potatoes

There are some baking recipes that always work out. Even if you don’t know how to cook at all, then a jellied pie made with sour cream and mayonnaise will still turn out very tasty and beautiful. And this recipe with photos will tell you step by step what to do and how.

  • canned mackerel - 1 can
  • onion - 1 pc.
  • potatoes - 1 pc.
  • sour cream - 200 gr
  • mayonnaise - 200 gr
  • egg - 1 pc.
  • flour - 4 tbsp. l.
  • salt - a pinch
  • soda - a pinch

First you need to make the filling. For this I took canned mackerel.

Place the fish on a plate and mash it thoroughly with a fork.

Cut a small onion into small cubes.

Peel a medium potato and grate it on a coarse grater.

Now let’s quickly make the dough for the jellied pie.

To do this, mix 200 grams of sour cream, 200 grams of mayonnaise, 1 egg and 4 tablespoons of flour in a bowl. Add a pinch of salt and the same amount of soda. A pinch, in my understanding, is about 1/10 of a teaspoon. Mix all the ingredients. The dough should not be very liquid.

Now, grease the baking dish with vegetable oil and pour a little less than half of the dough into it, and begin to lay out the filling on top. The first layer will be potatoes.

Then, mashed fish and onions.

Fill everything with the rest of the dough on top.

Try to distribute the dough evenly over the entire surface of the pie. Literally, you won’t be able to “pour” it; most likely, you will be able to “drip” it, since the dough is not very liquid. Then, carefully level everything with a spoon so that the entire surface of the filling is covered.

All that's left to do is put the pie in an oven preheated to 200°C for 40 minutes. During the first 20 minutes of baking, do not open the oven door under any circumstances. I personally start looking into the oven after 30-35 minutes, but, as practice shows, the pie can be taken out after exactly 40 minutes.

When the pie has cooled a little, it can be transferred to a dish and then cut into portions.

Recipe 5: kefir jellied pie with canned fish

A few more advantages of this recipe: all the necessary ingredients can be found in any housewife’s refrigerator, and the dish turns out to be very tasty and satisfying. It is ideal for both breakfast and late dinner.

For the test you will need:

  • 2 chicken eggs;
  • 200 ml kefir;
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil;
  • ¼ teaspoon salt;
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda or baking powder;
  • 180-240 grams of flour.

For the filling you need to take:

  • 1 can (240 grams) of canned fish;
  • 1 bunch of dill and 1 bunch of green onions;
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter for brushing the cake.

Lightly beat chicken eggs and a pinch of salt with a fork, pour in kefir, add baking powder or soda. There is no need to extinguish the soda, the lactic acid of kefir will do this.

Then add flour in small portions until the dough becomes thick like sour cream. Depending on the consistency of kefir and flour, you will need from one to one and a half glasses of flour.

For the filling: mash the canned fish with a fork, finely chop the dill and green onions with a knife, mix everything well.

Line the bottom of the baking dish with parchment, pour half of the dough, then lay out the filling, and pour the other half of the dough on top.

Bake at 180°C for 30-40 minutes. Pour melted butter on top of the finished pie and let cool under a towel.

  • It’s easy to check if the pie is ready: just pierce the dough with a wooden stick. If its surface remains dry, then it’s time to remove the baked goods.
  • There are no specific portions in terms of flour. You should be guided by the thickness of the dough, gradually adding flour in small portions. It should resemble runny sour cream or be similar to pancake batter.
  • There are two ways to prepare jellied pie. First, lay out the filling, then pour the prepared dough over the products. Or pour half of the dough into the mold, distribute the filling evenly over it and pour all the ingredients with the second half of the dough.
  • Be sure to add baking powder to the dough. It makes the dough fluffy and airy. If you don’t have such an additive, then add soda slaked with vinegar.
  • It’s very tasty to sprinkle the almost finished pie with cheese at the end of baking and leave it in the oven for a few more minutes until a nice golden crust appears.
  • As a filling, you can use various ingredients and their combinations: boiled eggs and green onions; potatoes and minced meat; champignons and potatoes; cabbage, carrots and onions; finely chopped bacon, tomatoes and cheese.

Step 1: prepare the onions.

Using a knife, peel the onion and then rinse thoroughly under running warm water. Place the component on a cutting board and finely chop into cubes.

Next, pour a small amount of vegetable oil into the frying pan and place on medium heat. When the contents of the container are well warmed up, pour in the chopped onion. Stirring occasionally with a wooden spatula, fry the component until light golden brown. At the end, turn off the burner and set the frying pan aside, let the onions cool to a warm state.

Step 2: Prepare the flour mixture.

Pour the flour into a sieve and sift over a medium bowl. This must be done to ensure that the cake turns out tender and airy. And all because during sifting, the flour is saturated with oxygen and gets rid of excess lumps. Next, add baking powder and a couple of pinches of salt to the container and mix everything well with a tablespoon.

Step 3: Prepare the pie dough.

Using a knife, break the eggshells and pour the yolks and whites into a large bowl. Add sour cream and kefir to this and, using a hand whisk or mixer at medium speed, beat all the ingredients until a homogeneous mass is formed.

Next, begin to pour the flour mixture into the container in small portions. At the same time, we continue to beat everything with available equipment so that no lumps appear. We should have a liquid dough.

Step 4: prepare canned fish.

Using a can opener, open a can of sardines in oil. Then, holding the lid, carefully pour the liquid in which the fish was stored into the sink. Next, place the component in a small bowl and knead thoroughly with a fork until smooth.

Now pour the fried onions into the container, as well as salt and ground black pepper to taste. Using a tablespoon, mix everything well again until smooth. That's it, the fish filling is ready!

Step 5: prepare a pie from batter with canned food.

Grease the bottom and walls of the baking dish with a small amount of vegetable oil using a pastry brush. Now pour half of the batter here. Then spread the fish filling into the container in an even layer and lightly level it with a tablespoon. At the end, fill everything with the remaining dough and turn on the oven.
When it warms up to temperature 180 degrees, place the pan with the pie on the middle level and bake it for 40 minutes until a golden crust appears on the surface. Attention: Before turning off the oven, you need to check the baked goods for doneness. To do this we will use a toothpick. Using oven mitts, carefully remove the cake and pierce it in several places with a wooden stick. If it remains dry and without lumps of dough, then the dish is ready and you can turn off the oven. If not, then extend the baking time further. for 10–15 minutes.
In any case, at the end we take out the container and set it aside. Let the cake cool until warm.

Step 6: Serve the batter pie with the preserves.

Transfer the warm pie from the baking dish to a special flat plate and serve it to the dinner table along with tea or coffee. These savory baked goods can be topped with sour cream or other sauce of your choice. Very tasty and filling!
Bon appetit everyone!

Instead of sardines in oil, you can put other canned fish in the filling, as long as it is in its own juice or fat. The only exception is sprat in tomato. It is not advisable to use it, as it will blur and the cake simply will not turn out;

In addition to the spices indicated in the recipe, you can add any others to the filling to your taste. For example, this could be “khmeli-suneli”, ground coriander, as well as special seasonings for fish;

To make the dough tender and airy, try to use premium, finely ground wheat flour and a trusted brand.
